Welcome to the CAMdfas home page

CAMdfas was founded in 1998. It meets on the second Monday of the month [September - May] at 8.00pm in the McCrum Lecture Theatre, Bene't Street, Cambridge CB2 1RF. Doors open at 7.15 pm when wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea are available. The McCrum is a purpose built facility with raked seating, excellent viewing conditions and a loop system.

The monthly meetings are popular with the members and cover a wide range of topics [see Programme for 2011/12] for example: painting, sculpture, garden design, great houses, jewellery and textiles. The society organises outings to places of interest within the area. It supports local youth arts groups.

The Society is registered as a charity with number 1103509. It is a member society of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies.

We are indebted to Mrs Lizanne Van Essen, a member of the Society, who has developed our logo.
